If you are in a leadership position in a volunteer organization what are you doing right now to ensure succession planning for your organization?
Does your organization have a source of truth for how the organization functions and how to access the files and other important documents required for your organization to run?
Do other members of your leadership team have access to the organization’s social media and website functions from an administrative perspective?
Life is complicated and a life event might transpire where you suddenly can’t lead your organization anymore. Would your organization implode with your departure or just need a month or two of course correction for new leadership to take the helm?
